| ABOUT LOCAL COLOR: In artistic terms, local color is defined as "the true color of an object in ordinary daylight." With this series of images I am attempting to portray character, beauty, and strength with the female form, placed within a natural environment and context. The models are relaxed and confident, sure of themselves and their ability to be sensual without becoming objectified. They know who they are, and they want to show the world--the viewer--that they are comfortable just being themselves, without pretense.
